We are delighted to announce that Broadland School of Dance will present its next theatre production on Sunday 22nd March 2026 at the prestigious Norwich Theatre Royal. This is a major highlight in our calendar and offers students aged 3+ the exciting opportunity to perform on a professional stage.
Hiring this venue represents a significant financial commitment. As this event is non-profit making, we kindly ask parents to encourage relatives and friends to purchase tickets. All proceeds are reinvested directly into the show’s production and running costs.

£20 participation fee
£20 rehearsal fee
For students performing in more than one dance, an additional £10 rehearsal fee per extra class applies.
Examples:
1 dance – £40
2 dances – £50
3 dances – £60
4 dances – £70
5 dances – £80
6 dances – £90
7 dances – £100
Please complete one form per student and submit payment accordingly.
Costume Hire Fee: £15 per costume
(Some costumes cost over £100, but all are charged at the same flat hire rate.)
This fee also includes laundering after the show.
Costume hire must be paid through our online shop during Spring Term 2026.
Costumes will only be issued once payment has been received.
Parents are required to provide:
Shoes
Tights
Underwear
Further details will be shared nearer the time.
Ballet students will require new satin ballet shoes unless advised to dance barefoot.
Students must attend a 30-minute rehearsal per dance each week (on either Saturday or Sunday).
Attendance at all dress rehearsals is compulsory – no exceptions.
A full timetable with arrival and collection times will be issued closer to the performance date.

Performances:
Matinee: 2:30pm
Evening: 7:00pm
Students will be able to watch the dress rehearsals at the theatre.
To comply with council safeguarding regulations, we require licensed chaperones for all groups.
Must hold a valid chaperone licence (includes safeguarding training and DBS check).
Licence cost: £40 (valid for 3 years).
Fully reimbursed upon presentation of receipt.
Duties include:
Supervising students backstage
Managing costume changes
Escorting students to/from stage entrances
If we do not have sufficient licensed chaperones, some students may be unable to perform.
We also welcome support with:
Hair
Make-up
Sewing and costume fixes
Refreshments (tea and coffee)
Please indicate your availability on the participation form.
The performance will be both photographed and filmed.
By taking part, you consent to your child appearing in production photographs and film footage for documentation and for purchase by families.
All dress rehearsals are compulsory.
Please keep all listed dates free.
